UPVISHATA ASANA


The practice of this asana should be done on a neat, clean and airy place by spreading a mat or bed sheet on the floor. First, sit on the mat for the practice of this asana. Now extend your legs according to the capacity in both the sides and keep the knees straight.Technique:

        The practice of this asana should be done on a neat, clean and airy place by spreading a mat or bed sheet on the floor. First, sit on the mat for the practice of this asana. Now extend your legs according to the capacity in both the sides and keep the knees straight. Hold your tiptoes of both the feet with the help of hands while taking deep breath normally. After that, bend your body forward slowly and touch your head on the right knee and stop your breath as much as you can. Now return in normal position while exhaling and keep breathing activity normal. After that, do this activity by changing the position. After the practice of this asana from both the sides, bend your body forwardly and extend both the hands and hold the feet tiptoes with the hands and try to touch your head on the floor. Breath should be stopped as much as you can stop in the beginning and increase its period slowly till one minute. Thus, repeat this asana 2-3 times.

Precaution:

        If you feel difficulty while touching the head on the floor or knees in the beginning, try to touch your head on the knees as much as you can and try to complete this asana. The legs should be extended in the sides as much as it is possible.
