Introduction:

        Swastika asana means healer. This asana is useful for the health of all age group people. The mind concentrate on a thing by this asana and it tends towards spiritual ideas. Yoga acharyas have described about this asana that when a person keeps the soles of both feet in the middle portion between knees and thigh and sits with straight neck, chest and spinal cord, he is now in the position of swastika asana.

 Spread a mat or bed sheet on the floor and sit upon it for the practice of this asana. Now bend your right leg from the knee and press between the knee of left leg in normal position anTechnique:

        Spread a mat or bed sheet on the floor and sit upon it for the practice of this asana. Now bend your right leg from the knee and press between the knee of left leg in normal position and keep the right leg on the calf of left leg by bending the leg from the knee. After that, keep your both the hands on the knees and make Gyana Mudara. For Gyana Mudara, keep three fingers open and join thumb and index finger altogether. Now concentrate or observe your nose tip. Stay in this position according to your capacity.

The person, who feels difficulty while doing prayanama in padma asana, should do practice of this postuer. The practice of this asana calms the brain and awakes the mind for of the god. It is also useful to cure legs pain. It helps in reducing offensive smell of sweat and excessive sweat of the legs. The person, who suffers from feet coldness in winter and excessive sweat in summer, should do the practice of this postuer for 20 minutes daily.
