SANTULANA ASANA


     The practice of this asana should be done on a clean and airy place. Spread a mat or bed sheet on the floor and sit upon it. Now bend your right leg from the knee and bring it backwards Technique:

        The practice of this asana should be done on a clean and airy place. Spread a mat or bed sheet on the floor and sit upon it. Now bend your right leg from the knee and bring it backwards and put the knees and tiptoes on the floor and sit on the hips. After that, bend your left leg and put on the right thigh. Now keep the weight of the whole body on the right leg and knee and try to make the balance. If you feel difficulty in the beginning, you can take support of the wall. Now keep your both hands on the waist and stop breath according to your capacity and exhale slowly. In this position, you should concentrate in the middle portion of the eyes and make the mind stable and remember God. External thoughts should not come in the mind. Stay in this position for sometime and return in normal position. Repeat this activity again by changing the legs. 

Special note:

        This asana is difficult in the beginning, so you can take the support of the wall in the beginning. Regular practice of this asana daily makes it easy. Physical balance is very needful in this asana.

        This asana is very useful for the good life and healthy body. The practice of this asana makes anus and reproductive organs strong. There is pressure of this asana on the seminal duct and because of this reason a person does not become the victim of unnecessary loss of semen viz nightfall. Internal flow of the spermtorrhoea and reproductive organs become active by this asana.
