The practice of this asana should be done on a clean environment and open airy place. Spread a mat or bed sheet on the floor and sit upon it in Padhma Asana. For Padhama Asana, Technique:

For Padhama Asana, bend your right leg from the knee and put on the left thigh and left leg on the right thigh by bending from the knee. Keep both the heels in the contact of the navel in this position. Now fluff up the chest while inhaling and stretch both the hands up and stop your breath as much as you can. After that, bring the hands till the knees by exhaling and keep the back and hands straight and stretched in this position. Thereafter, take rest for 20 seconds and repeat again this asana. Do this activity 10 times.
