The cartilage tissues are stronger than other connective tissues, but are weaker than bones. It is little opaque, shiny, solid structural flexible tissue. It is made up of cartilage cells, chondroblasts and extra amount of matrix. The matrix is clean and homogeneous or can have fibrous tissue in it. The cartilage tissue can be divided into 3 groups on the basis of the numbers of cartilage cells and the nature of matrix-
