      Common Myrtle leave’s fragrance is excitable and useful to end mentally disorders, especially for epilepsy. It is useful to cure chest diseases, indigestion, stomach and liver diseases. Drinking its leave’s decoction cures mouth blisters quickly. Applying its paste on the wounds recovers early. Its fruits are fragrant and end gas, phlegm disorders, offensive smell, diarrhea, sprue and dysentery.

       If any patient has been suffering from much phlegm, grind its fruit and make small tablets. Taking these tablets brings out chronic phlegm. It is very useful to end urine problems, urine burning sensation or spermatorrhoea and other diseases. Grind its roots, leaves and stems to make the powder. Taking this powder kills worms and bacteria. Material oil is made from its leaves and flowers. This oil is fragrant, excitable and ends phlegm. This oil is used much in medicines.
