Malabar nut tree grows itself in gravelly soil in bushy groups in India. It is a tree, which height is equal to human.Introduction:

       Bushy plant of Malabar nut is found in all over India easily. It is 120-240 cm long. Its leaves are 7.5 to 20 cm long, one and 4 to 6.5 cm wide like guava leaves, sharply, very offensive, some rough and green. Putting leaves of Malabar nut in the books and cloths safes from insects. Its flowers are white in color, 5 to 7.5 cm long and grow in bunches always. Its pods are about 2.5 cm long, some flat and with small hair, which have four seeds. Stem bark is yellow. Water can’t fill in its wood, so it does not become useless.

Color: Its flower is white and leaves are green.

Taste: Its flower is some sweet and vapid. Leaves and root are bitter.

Structure:

  • Tree: Malabar nut tree grows itself in gravelly soil in bushy groups in India. It is a tree, which height is equal to human.
  • Leaves: Leaves are 7.5 to 20 long romash, abhimukhi and sharp from both sides.
  • Flower: The flower is white, 5 to 7.5 long, which grow in long sprout in February-march months.
  • Pods: Its pod is about 2.5 cm long and with small hair. Each pod has four seeds.

Nature: Malabar nut is hot and dry in nature but its flowers are cool in nature.

Dose: 10 to 20 milliliters (2-4 spoons) fresh juice of flowers and leaves, 30 to 60 milliliter decoction of root and 10-20 grams powder of leaves, flowers and roots of Malabar nut can be used.

Qualities:

          Malabar nut’s flower is useful to cure tuberculosis and blood warmth. According to the Ayurveda, it is bitter and pungent in taste and cool in nature, best for the voice, light and useful for the heart. It can be used to cure phlegm disorders, bile disorders, blood diseases, vomiting, breathing problems, fever, thirst, cough, indigestion, sperm diseases, chronic catarrh, Synosaitis, etc. diseases successfully.

         According to Unani Medical System, Malabar nut stops nose-bleeding and ends blood disorders caused by bile quick. It is excellent medicine of the phlegm disorders caused by warmth and breathing system. It is also known as the medicine of hoarseness and cough.

          According to Scientists, after chemical searching of Malabar nut, it is found that its leaves have 2-4% Vaasikin named a pungent alkelied. Besides it, it contains intentional oil, fat acid, resin, sugar, fat, ammonia and other elements too. It contains enough quantity of potassium nitrate salt. Its root contains enough quantity of vaasikin. Malabar nut contains as much medicines qualities because of having above elements.

         According to Homoeopathic doctors, it provides very relief in sneezing, cough caused by cold, allergy, hoarseness, whooping cough and sinusitis etc. disease. Its 30 and 200 potency provides very benefit.

Useful in Different Diseases:

1. Tuberculosis:

  • Mix 10 grams powder of Malabar nut flowers with equal quantity of sugar candy and take it with one glass of milk twice a day for 6 months regularly in the condition of tuberculosis.
  • Malabar nut provides very relief in tuberculosis. Eating it with any rule regularly cures cough. The blood does not discharge with phlegm and fever is cured by it use. Its juice is also very useful. Mix juice of Malabar nut with honey and give it to the patient twice or thrice a day.
  • Boil three liters juice of Malabar nut and 320 grams sugar-candy on light fire until turns into thick then mix eighty grams powder of small pepper in it. When this preparation turns into able for licking, mix and 160 grams cow ghee thereafter mix 320 grams honey in it after cooling. 5-10 grams this medicine can be given to the suffered patient. It is also useful for the treatment of cough, breathing problems, waist pain, heart pain, fever and blood disorders caused by bile.
  • Mix honey with juice of Malabar nut and give it to the patient, it provides relief in cough and breathing problems. It also useful to cure tuberculosis, jaundice, fever and blood disorders caused by bile.
  • Taking about half to 12 grams bark of Malabar root or about ¼ grams powder of its leaves with honey twice a day provides relief in tuberculosis.

2. Asthma

  • Fill powder of dried leaves of Malabar nut in hubble-bubble and smoke with it, it provides very relief in asthma.
  • Mix dried leaves of Malabar and dried leaves of black thorn-apple together and thereafter prepare the powder from it after grinding. Smoking with this powder (prepare biri from this powder) provides relief in chronic asthma.
  • Mix about half gram impure carbonate of potash, ten drops juice of Malabar nut and about ¼ grams cloves powder together. Asthma is cured by taking this mixture twice a day.
  • Taking about half gram alkaline of Malabar nut tree with honey twice a day after the meal provides relief in the asthma.
  • In asthma disease, make a decoction by boiling Malabar nut, grapes and myrabalan chebulie with water thereafter mix honey and sugar in it. Asthma is cured by taking this mixture twice a day.
  • Smoking with leaves of Malabar nuts is useful to end breathing problems or asthma. Mix leaves of thorn-apple and Malabar nuts together and thereafter smoke with it because it provides relief too.
  • Mix silver fir powder and honey with juice of Malabar nut and take it to cure hoarseness.
  • Mix 5 grams Malabar nut juice with equal quantity of ginger juice thereafter give it to the patient after every three hour, it cures asthma within forty days.
  • Taking five ml juice of Malabar nut’s leaves with honey or milk or water thrice a day is useful to cure chronic cough, asthma, tuberculosis, bleeding with stool and urine, bloody vomiting, epistaxis, blood disorders caused by bile, etc.

3. Cough and breathing problems: Mix equal quantity of Malabar nut leaves’ juice and honey together and thereafter give 2 spoons of this mixture to the patient thrice a day, it can cure cough and breathes diseases.

4. Epistaxis and blood disorders caused by bile: Make a decoction by boiling equal quantity of root bark and leaves of Malabar nut with water. After that, take 2 spoons this decoction thrice a day, it stops bleeding of the nose and mouth.

5. Ulcers and Pimples: Grind leaves of Malabar nut and prepare a dark paste from it. In the beginning, apply this paste on the affected parts and tie bandage on it, it will reduce affects. If ulcers or pimples become mature, they burst. After bursting, mix some turmeric powder in this paste and apply it on the affected parts. It will cure wounds quickly.

6. Chronic catarrh, Sinusitis and pinus: The patient should take 2 spoons gulakanda of Malabar nut’s flowers twice a day.

7. Itching: Grind soft leaves of Malabar nut and mango ginger with cow urine thereafter coat it on the affected parts. Or boil the leaves of Malabar nut in water and take bath with it. This disease is cured by using this process.

8. Dark phlegm: Cast juice of Malabar nut sugar, honey and rock salt (equal of 2 gram) in hot tea together and thereafter give it to the patient in the condition of dark phlegm.

9. Scorpio poison: Grind root of black Malabar nut with cold water and coat it on the affected parts, it alleviates snack poison.

10. Headache:

  • Make the fine powder by grinding dried fruits (Dry under the shadow) and store it. Mix 10 grams this powder with jiggery and prepare four doses from it. Eating one dose in beginning of headache provides relief in headache quick.
  • Grind twenty grams root of Malabar nut and 200 ml milk properly and fifteen grams powder of black peppers and thirty grams sugar-candy in it. Headache, eyes diseases, body pain, hiccups and cough etc. diseases are cured by taking this medicine.
  • Make a tea by boiling dried leaves (dry under the shadow) of Malabar and take it because it ends headache or other diseases of the head. Some salt can be mixed in this tea for taste.

11. Eyes diseases: Tying 2-4 warm flowers of Malabar nut on the eyes is useful to end eyes swelling.

12. Mouth diseases (Mouth blisters):

  • If the patient has been suffering from mouth blisters, he should chew 2-3 leaves of Malabar nut and suck its juice because it cures mouth blisters. The leaves should be spit after chewing.
  • Brushing with soft branch of Malabar nut is useful to cure mouth diseases.
  • Mix fifty ml decoction of Malabar nut, one spoon ochre and two spoons honey together. Mouth blisters and nerves wound are cured by putting this decoction in the mouth.

13. Teeth hollow: If the hole occurs in the teeth and molar, fine powder of Malabar nut should be filled in hole of the molar teeth.

14. Gums pain: This disease is cured by gargling with a decoction of Malabar leaves.

15. Teeth diseases: Brush with wood of Malabar nut regularly to cure many types of diseases of the teeth and mouth.

16. Chicken pox: Make a decoction by boiling leaf of malabar nut and three grams liquorices with water thereafter give it to the suffered child to drink. Fear does not occur by taking this decoction.

17. Phlegm and breathing problems:       

  • Make a decoction by boiling malabar nut, turmeric, coriander, tinospora, long pepper, dry ginger and ringnee with water. Mix one gram chilly powder with 10-20 ml this decoction and give it to the patient thrice a day. It is useful to end breathing problems completely.
  • Dry panchang of (Root, stem, Leaf, Fruit and flower) small tree of malabar nut under the shadow thereafter filter it with the help of cloth. After that, take ten grams this mixture as a dose to end breathing problems. It also brings out phlegm.

18. Lungs inflammation: Shuffle 8-10 leaves of malabar nut with Rogan Baboona thereafter coat it on the lungs; it provides relief in the inflammation.

19. Aadhymaan (Surfeited): Grind ten grams powder of malabar nut’s bark, ¼ grams powder of caraway and 1/8 parts black salt with lemon juice thereafter prepare tablets equal of one gram from it. After that, take 1 to 3 tablets twice a day after meal to cure fever caused by bile, surfeited, stomach heaviness, which occurs after eating the meal. It also ends slow pain. Juice of malabar nut can be also used to cure this disease.

20. Kidney pain: Make warm leaves of malabar nut and neem together and thereafter foment the abdomen with it as well as mix 5 grams juice of malabar nut leaves with 5 grams honey and give it to the patient; it provides relief in unbearable pain of the kidney.

21. Menses problems: If any woman has been suffering from retention of menstrual excretion, boil ten grams leaves of malabar nut, 6 grams radish seed and 6 grams carrot seeds with 500 ml water until it remains ¼ part then put it down. After that, give this decoction to her for some days regularly to make menstrual excretion normal.

22. Retention of urine: Grind ten grams muskmelon seeds and ten grams leaves of malabar nut together and thereafter take it with water because it helps in urination clearly.

23. Anuria-dysuria: Soak 8-10 flowers of malabar nut in one glass of water at overnight. In the next morning, crush these flowers and filter it. Anuria-dysuria is cured by taking it.

24. Sperm problems: Grind dried fruits of malabar nut and mix it with double quantity of ash of Indian hemp (Bhang) after filtering. After that, take this mixture with vinegar and cucumber to cure shukrameh.

25. Dropsy: If the patient has been suffering from dropsy or his whole body becomes white, give 10-20 ml juice of leaves of malabar nut to him twice or thrice a day. It brings out urine in enough quantity and cures dropsy.

26. Easy Delivery:

  •  Coat ground root of malabar nut on the navel, nerves and vagina, and tie its root on the waist. Using this process makes delivery normal.
  •   Coating a paste of Indian aloe or glory lily or Malabar nut or prickly chalf flower on the nerve, abdomen and around the vagina makes delivery easily.

27. Leucorrhoea:

  • In the leucorrhoea, mix 5 grams loaf sugar and one spoon honey with 10-15 milliliters juice of malabar nut or tinospora juice thereafter give it to the patient twice a day, it provides relief in leucorrhoea.
  • Mix ten ml juice of malabar nut with one spoon honey and give it to the patient twice a day, it cures leucorrhoea.

28. Bite (Numbness of the body parts): Cook ten grams flowers of malabar nut and two grams dry ginger with 100 ml water thereafter give it to the patient; it provides relief in numbness of the parts.

29. Spasm: Heat juice of malabar nut leaves with sesame oil and rub it on the affected parts, it provides relief in paralysis, stomachache caused by vatta and achrodynia.

30. Vatta diseases: Fomenting the affected parts with warm leaves of malabar nut provides relief in joints pain, paralysis and body pain as prickly.

31. Bloody piles: Make the fine powder by grinding equal quantity of malabar nut leaves and white sandal together. After that, take four grams this powder twice a day regularly to cure bloody piles and stops bleeding too. If the swelling occurs in the pile moles, steam of its leaves should be given on the moles.

32. Blood disorders caused by bile:

  • Mix 10-20 ml juice fresh leaves of malabar nut, honey and loaf sugar together and thereafter give it to the patient twice a day; it provides relief in blood disorders caused by bile. This medicine can be used in Urdhv blood disorder due to bile too.
  • Mix 10-20 ml juice of malabar nut, two grams powder of silver fir and honey together and after that give this mixture to the patient twice a day, it cures phlegm disorders, bile disorders, breathing problems, hoarseness and blood disorders caused by bile.
  • Mix equal quantity of malabar nut’s root, dry grapes and myrabalan chebulie together. Boil twenty grams this mixture with 400 ml water until it remains ¼ parts then mix sugar and honey in it. After that, give this preparation to the patient to end cough, breathing problems and blood disorders caused bile.

33. Kapha Fever: Make a decoction by boiling myrabalan chebulie, beleric myrabalan, Indian gooseberry, leaves of sesapadula, malabar nut, tinospora, helle-bore and root of long pepper with water thereafter mix 20 grams honey in it. After that, take this decoction to cure fever caused by kapha (phlegm).

34. Jaundice:

  • Mix equal quantity of triphala, tinospora, helle-bore, chiretta, bark of neem and malabar nut together. Boil twenty grams this mixture with 320 ml water until it remains ¼ parts then mix honey in it. Jaundice is cured by taking twenty milliliters this decoction twice a day.
  • Mix equal quantity of honey and sugar candy with 10 ml juice of its panchang (root, stem, leaf, flower and fruit) and thereafter give it to the patient in the condition of jaundice.

35. Ringworm, scabies and itching: Grind 10-12 soft leaves of malabar nut and 2-5 grams turmeric with cow urine thereafter coat it on the affected part; it ends itching and swelling quickly. It also provides relief in ringworm, itching and scabies.

36. Typhoid: This fever is cured by taking 3-6 grams powder of malabar nut’s root as dose.

37. Body foul smell: Mix some powder of conch shell (Shankh) with juice leaves of malabar nut and apply it on the body, it ends foul smell of the body.

38. Water disorders caused by small insects and creatures: Malabar nut is poisonous for water insects and creatures. It also kills small creatures and frog, so it can be used to make water pure.

39. Animal’s diseases: If cow and ox suffer from stomach disorders, mix kutti of malabar leaves in fodder and give it to them. It provides relief in stomach disorders and kills the stomach worms of the animals too.

40. Worms: By putting leaves of malabar nut in the books worms do not occur.

41. Bronchitis:

  • Make a decoction by boiling malabar nut, wild egg plant, Persian manna plant, nut-grass and dry ginger with water. Bronchitis is cured by taking this decoction.
  • This disease (bronchitis) is cured by taking 6-10 a thick decoction of malabar nut twice a day.

42. Collapsing fever:

  • Make a decoction by boiling malabar nut, common fumitory, neem, liquorices, coriander, dry ginger, cedar, orrisa root, holarrhena antidysentrica wall, land caltrops and root of long pepper with water thereafter give it to the patient. This decoction is useful to cure collapsing fever, breathing problems, cough, diarrhoea, pain and indigestion.
  • Mix some ginger and basil leaves with 10 ml juice of malabar nut thereafter grind liquorices in it. Mix honey in this mixture and give it to the patient thrice a day in the condition of collapsing fever.
  • In collapsing fever, make a decoction by boiling 20 grams bark of malabar nut root, 3 grams dry ginger and one gram black pepper with water thereafter mix honey in it. The patient should take this decoction in collapsing fever.

43. Fever caused by Vatta and Pitta: Grind malabar nut, small wild egg plant and tinospora eight grams each. Boil this mixture with water to prepare a decoction and give it to the patient because it provides relief in cough and fever caused by phlegm.

44. Fever:

  • Grind 10 grams leaves of malabar nut with 10 grams Indian gooseberry and soak it in water at overnight. In the next morning, crush this mixture and mix 10 grams sugar candy in it. Fever caused by bile is cured by taking this mixture.
  • Mix ten ml malabar nut juice, five ml ginger juice and some honey together and thereafter give it to the patient to lick many times in a day, it provides relief in fever.
  • Mix malabar nut juice, ginger juice and basil leaves juice 5 ml each together then mix 5 grams liqourica powder in it. Taking this mixture is useful to cure fever caused by phlegm.

45. Wet cough: Mix 7 to 14 milliliter juice of fresh leaves of malabar nut with honey and give to patient twice a day to cure wet cough.

46. Cough with tuberculosis:

  • Licking juice of fresh leaves of malabar nut with honey provides relief in chronic cough, breathing problems and tuberculosis.
  • Mix juice of malabar nut leaves, ginger juice and honey one spoon each together and thereafter give it to the patient to drink because it provides relief in all the types of cough.
  • In tuberculosis, mix one gram powder of small peppers with 20-30 ml decoction of malabar leaves and give it to the patient to cure chronic cough, breathing problems and tuberculosis.

47. Whooping cough: Fill dried leaves of malabar nut in a soil pot and put it on fire to prepare ash. Licking 24 to 36 grams this ash with honey is useful to cure whooping cough.

48. Cough:

  • Licking juice of malabar nut with honey provides relief in new and chronic cough. It stops bleeding with phlegm.
  • Boil 320 grams white sugar, eighty grams powder of small pepper and eighty grams cow ghee with one liter juice of malabar nut on light fire until it turns into dark then put it down and make cold. Mix 320 grams honey in this preparation and store it. After that, take this preparation to end tuberculosis, cough, breathing problems, unbearable pain, heart pain, blood disorders caused by bile and fever too. This medicine should be given to the patient in spoon quantity or according to condition.
  • Burn dried leaves of malabar nut and prepare ash from it. Grind fifty grams this ash and fifty grams liquorices powder with 10 grams galls, ten grams greater galangal and ten grams nut-grass. Cough is cured by taking this mixture.
  • Make a decoction by boiling forty grams malabar nut, twenty grams liquorices and ten grams big cardamom with 4 folds water until it remains half water then put it down and mix some powder of small peepal and honey in it. After that, take this preparation twice a day to get relief in whooping cough, bleeding with breathe and phlegm etc. disease.
  • Mix 5-15 ml juice of malabar nut, ginger juice or small pepper, some rock salt and honey together. This medicine should be given to the patient twice a day in the condition of fever caused by phlegm.
  • Give 5 to 15 ml juice of malabar nut’s leaves with to the suffered children with borax Kheer (which is prepared by boiling rice with milk) twice or thrice a day regularly to cure fever caused by phlegm.
  • Mix equal quantity of malabar nut juice and basil leaves juice together and take it to cure cough.
  • Make a decoction by boiling malabar nut and black pepper with water and give it to the patient to cure cough.
  • Dry panchang (stem, root, leaf, flower and fruit) of malabar nut under the shadow and prepare the powder from it after grinding. Taking ten grams this powder regularly is useful to get relief in cough and phlegm disorders.
  • Make a decoction by boiling malabar nut leaves and root of orrisa with water and give it to the patient because it provides relief in cough and breathing problems.
  • Fill dried bark of malabar nut in hubble-bubble and smoke with it, it cures cough and asthma. 
  • Make a decoction by boiling equal quantity of malabar nut, basil leaves and dry grapes with water thereafter give it to the patient twice a day, it helps to cure cough.
  • Make the fine powder by grinding equal quantity of malabar nut, dry grapes, dry ginger, red cardamom and black pepper together. This powder should be taken twice a day to get relief in cough.

49. Relapsing Fever: Make a decoction by boiling equal quantity of malabar nut root, Indian gooseberry, fruit of terminalia chebula, desmodium gangeticum’s panchang (stem, leaf, root, fruit and flower), wood of cedar and dry ginger with water. After that, take 14 to 28 ml this decoction with 5-10 grams sugar and five grams honey thrice a day to cure fever.

50. Pneumonia:

  • If any child has been suffering from rattle in the throat and chest, give 10-20 drops juice of red malabar nut’s leaves to it with parched grain (Kheel) of borax or small pepper and honey after every 4-6 hours to end the rattle of the throat and chest.
  • In the condition of pneumonia, the patient should take juice of four malabar nuts leaves, juice of hoarse-radish and salt with honey because it provides relief in pneumonia.

51. Chronic cough: This disease is cured by taking a thick decoction of malabar nuts.

52. Dry cough: Mix 14 milliliters juice of malabar nut with equal quantity of ghee and sugar. Dried cough is cured by taking this mixture twice a day.

55. Cataract: Wash leaves of malabar nut with clean water and squeeze juice from it. Grind this juice in a best pestle (pestle should be ground in juice) until it becomes dry then apply it in the eyes as collyrium. It is useful in all the types of cataract.

56. Surfeited: This disease is cured by taking 5 to 15 ml juice of malabar nut’s leaves as a dose.

57. Chest wound: The person, who has been suffering from chest wound, should take 7 to 14 milliliters juice of fresh leaves of malabar nut with honey twice a day.

58. Mouth bleeding: Grind fine six grams dried leaves or green leaves of malabar nut and mix honey in it. After that, give this medicine to the patient to stop bleeding.

59. Louses:

  • Washing the hair with decoction of malabar nut destroys the louses.
  • By tying a fruit with leaves of malabar nut fruit does not spoil. Spraying its alcoholic tincture runs away fly, mosquito and cockroaches etc. By spreading temporary planting site (which is made with leaves of malabar nut) in field insects do not occur in the fields. All insects run away from wool cloth by putting its leaves in layer of wool cloth. Thus, washing the hair with decoction of malabar nut destroys the head louses.

60. Bloody vomiting: Mix honey with juice of malabar nut’s leaves and give it to the patient, it prevents bloody vomiting.

61. Catarrh:

  • Boil twenty grams leaves of malabar nut with 250 ml water until it remains ¼ parts then put it down. Crush these leaves with water properly and filter it. Catarrh is cured by taking this decoction.
  • Catarrh is cured by drinking juice of malabar nut leaves juice.

62. Diarrhoea: Taking 5 to 15 ml juice of malabar nut’s leaves with honey twice a day prevents diarrhoea.

63. Bacillary Diarrhoea: One should take 5 to 15 ml juice of malabar nut’s leaves with honey twice a day regularly because it provides relief in this disease.

64. Blood diarrhoea: Drink juice of malabar nut to prevent blood diarrhoea.

65. Mumps: Applying ground leaves of malabar nut tree on the ears provides relief in mumps.

66. Fistula: Grind malabar nut leaves and prepare soup from it. Spray rock salt on this soup and tie it on the affected, it provides relief in fistula.

67. Pain and Swelling:

  • Tying bandage of malabar nut leaves on the affected parts is useful to get relief in pain and swelling.
  • Grind leaves of red malabar nut with coconut water and coat it on the affected parts as well as coat castor oil on mudar leaf and tie it on the on the affected part. It provides relief in swelling quickly.

68. Acidity:

  • Make a decoction by boiling malabar nut, tinospora and small wild eggs plant with water. This decoction should be taken with honey to get relief in vomiting, cough, asthma and fever etc. diseases.
  • Grind malabar nut, tinospora, common fumitory, skin of neem, chiretta, flavieria repanda, myrabalan chebulie, beleric myrabalan, Indian gooseberry and bitter leaves of sesapadula together and thereafter boil this mixture to prepare a decoction and mix honey in it. Acidity is cured by taking this decoction.

69. Tumour: Mix juice of black malabar nut leaves with oil and rub it on the affected parts, it provides relief in tumours.

70. Bloody Leucorrhoea:

  • Mix honey with juice of leaves of malabar nut and give it to the suffered woman because it prevents bloody leucorrhoea.
  • Taking 14 to 28 ml juice of malabar nut’s leaves with 5-10 grams sugar twice a day is useful to get relief in bloody leucorrhoea.

71. Breast Swelling: Grind leaves of malabar nut with coconut juice and apply it on the nipples and tie the leaves of thorn-apple on it. Using this process is useful to end swelling caused by over breast milk.

72. Wound: Make a decoction by boiling pudding pipe tree, tinospora and malabar nut with water thereafter mix castor oil in it. Wound is cured by taking this mixture.

73. Syphilis: Grind bark of malabar nut root with water and prepare tablets equal of savage plum from it. Syphilis is cured by taking 1 tablet with ghee in the morning regularly.

74. Rheumatism: Tie a bandage of malabar nut’s leaves on the affected parts to end the bones weakness.

75. Vagina diseases: Make the fine powder by grinding malabar nut, bitter sesapadula (parwal), orrisa root, callicarpa macrophylla flower (Priyangu) and neem together. Wash the vagina with a decoction of pudding pipe and put above powder in the vagina. It ends offensive smell and oiliness of the vagina.

76. Joints pain: Tying warm leaves of malabar nut on the affected part joints is useful to get relief in joints pain.

77. Achrodynia (Hands and feet twisting):

  • Make a decoction by boiling root, leaves and flowers of malabar nut with water thereafter give it to the patient to cure achrodynia.
  • Make a decoction by boiling flowers of malabar nut and dry ginger with water give it to the patient to cure achrodynia.
  • Burn flowers and fruits of malabar nut with mustard oil and filter it. After that, rub this oil on the affected part to cure achrodynia.

78. Leprosy:

  • Give 5 to 15 ml juice of malabar nut’s leaves to the patient twice a day and apply juice of its leaves and take bath with a decoction of malabar nut leaves. Using this process provides relief in leprosy.
  • Grind soft leaves of malabar nut and turmeric thereafter mix both with cow urine. Coating this mixture on the affected parts is useful to cure ‘Kachchho’ (leprosy) within three days only.
  • Grind soft leaves of malabar nut and mix with turmeric and cow urine and make a paste. After that, apply this paste on the affected part to cure leprosy within three days.

79. Chicken pox:

  • Mix honey with juice of malabar nut and give it to the patient to drink because it cures chicken pox caused by phlegm (kafaj-masoorika).
  • Make a decoction by boiling malabar nut, tinospora, Cyprus, patol patra, coriander, flavieria repanda, chiretta, neem, helle-bore and pitta-papra with water. The patient should take this decoction in the condition of chicken pox.

80. Jaundice:

  • Mix nitre with juice of malabar nut and give it to the patient, it increases urine quantity and cures jaundice too.
  • Grind equal quantity of Indian gooxberry, myrabalan chebulie, beleric myrabalan, chiretta, leaves of malabar nut, helle-bore and neem bark together. Boil 25 grams this mixture in 250 ml water until 50 ml water remains then cool it after putting down. After that, take this decoction to cure jaundice within 10 days.

81. Measles: Grind fine Paad, sesapadula, helle-bore, red sandal, white sandal, cuscus, indian gooseberry, malabar nut and Persian manna plant 5 grams each together and thereafter prepare 3 doses from it. Soak one dose in 250 ml water at overnight. In the next morning, boil this mixture until it remains ¼ parts then filter it. Mix one spoon ground sugar-candy in this decoction and give it to the patient on empty stomach, it provides relief in measles.

82. Anemia: The patient, who suffers from anemia, should take one cup juice of ripe malabar nut for eight days regularly because it increases blood quantity in body.

83. Nerves pain: Tying bandage of malabar nut’s leaves on nerves is useful to get relief in nerves pain.
