Making flexible to the muscles in modern massage therapy

Treatment by a doctor :

We should know how many kinds of muscles are in the body before making them flexible. About 45 percent weight of the body is the weight of the muscles of the body. There are three kinds of muscles.

Kinds of muscles in the body:

Soft muscles:

These are the muscles which are called involuntary muscles. These muscles keep on contracting and expanding. Such kinds of muscles have small fibers with lines.

Muscles of heart:

Such kinds of muscles are involuntary with lines. Muscles of heart are strong.

Muscles with lines:

These muscles work to joint the skeleton and keep on sustaining the motion, stage and posture. Such kinds of muscles are called voluntary muscles too because they can be controlled according to wish. These muscles are in the form of lines and because of the muscles contraction the body can be kept in desired position. There are 400 muscles in the body.  When a person is in the condition of sleep, there is no contraction in his these muscles. Hence, when he drowses after waking up, his head keeps on rolling here and there.

Tiredness of the muscles:

  • When muscles are in stressed condition because of movement, the quantity of the elements of tiredness (carbon dioxide, lactic acid) increases because of which fibers of the muscles become hard and they are not able to contract. Consequently, the person feels exhaustion. The effect of blood and lymph become reduced because of this exhaustion. Nutrition of the body becomes insufficient too.
  • The nerves of the body become weak if these muscles are not treated soon or hardness of these muscles are not removed. In this situation, endocrines glands and inner organs get affected and balance of the body becomes imbalanced. Such kind of hardness can be treated in modern massage therapy.
