Indian persimun is small, bitter and pungent in taste and cool and dry in nature. It ends bile disorders, swelling and circulates the blood. It enhances sperm count and brings phlegm out. It is useful for the treatment of heart pain, fever, early ejaculation, leucorrhoea, leprosy and the skin diseases.
Its ripe fruit is sweet, smooth and heavy. It cures spermatorrhoea, blood disorders and eliminates gas.
Decoction of Indian persimmon’s bark is useful for the treatment of loose motions, dysentery, leucorrhoea, white flecks and heart pain. Taking tablets of Indian persimmon’s bark is beneficial to get relief in cough. The person who suffers from typhoid should take decoction of Indian persimmon bark with honey because it provides relief.
