Indian jalap is black. It is bitter.  Structure: Indian jalap is very well known and there are three corners in it. Name in different languages:

Hindi                -               Kala dana

Sanskrit           -               Krishna bij

Bengali            -               Kala dana

Gujrati              -               Kala dana

Latin                 -              Convolvulus nil  

Colour: Indian jalap is black.                        

Taste: It is bitter.

Structure: Indian jalap is very well known and there are three corners in it. Its seeds are also black.

Nature: Indian jalap is hot in nature.

Precautions: Over quantity of Indian jalap may be the cause of gripping of the stomach and loose motions.

2.Gas in the stomach: Take 2-3 grams Indian jalap to eliminate gas from the stomach. Its use makes the stomach light.

3.Neural pain: Take 3 grams Indian jalap with 50 ml water. Its use provides relief in neural pain.
