Fascia


        It is a fibrous connective tissue which covers skeletal muscles and ties them altogether. This is called fascia. It is of two types superficial and deep.  

        Superficial fascia is situated at the deep of the dermis of skin and it is found especially in the scalp, palms and soles. It is of different thickness in different body regions generally, superficial fascia is made of loose connective tissues in which blood vessels, nerves, lymphatic vessels and several fatty cells are found. It provides a safety layer and help skin to move freely over the structures situated at the deepness.

Deep Fascia:

        Deep fascia is situated under the superficial fascia. It is made of several layers dense connective tissues and it ties and wraps the muscles. There are blood vessels, nerves, lymphatic vessels and fat in some quantity.
