Eyes Diseases

EYES DISEASES

Introduction-

The structure of the eyes is microscopic and complicated. The portion of the eyes on which reflection appears is called retina. There is a lens in the eyes, which makes the picture of any thing, and the thing, which changes the reflection or picture, made by that lens is called changing porous system.

Lens system of the eyes-

  • Interface between the air and violent surface of cornea.
  • Interface between the watery liquid of the eyes and layer of cornea.
  • Interface between violent layer of lens and watery liquid of the eyes.
  • Surface of the lens originates because of joining with the interface in the middle of the liquid as lassi situated in the back portion of the eyes.

There is a cause of the difference between the abducent indexes of both the sides of all the surfaces, which determines the focusing power of all the surfaces. As glass lens focuses the picture made on any paper in the same way lens system of the eyes focuses anything on the retina. Shape of the thing is in opposite condition but the brain makes right picture on the retina by which we are able in looking all the things in right position.

To make the shape of any thing on the eye’s retina, there are four main activities needful to focus the light beams on that retina-

  1. Refraction of the rays of light
  2. Arrangement of the lens of eyes
  3. Eyelids' contraction
  4. Convergence of the eyes

Adjustment and size of the eyeballs is the work of soft muscular cells of ciliary muscles and contracted muscles of spread and sub eyeballs. Whereas they are inside the eyeballs so they are called interior eye muscles.

Para sensory nerves control ciliary muscles completely. Contraction comes in the cilliary muscles by stimulating para sensory fibers, which makes loose to the nerves of lens and increases its repeater power. Eyes centralize on the nearby things much because of this increasing repeater power. Consequently, as distant things come near the eyes, para sensory impetuses, which clash with cilliary muscles, should increase progressively so that the thing may remain in focus.

Press biopia -

The flexibility of the eyes’ stabilizes as a solid organ after destroying as the age of a person grows. Such kind of disturbance in the lens of the eyes originates because of increasing disorder of protein. So, the capacity of becoming the eyes round destroy slowly and power of adjustment remains two diaptors from the 14 diaptors in the age of 40-50. Thereafter, lens of the eyes become alien adjustment almost completely. This condition is called press byopia.

Hypermetropia: (farsightedness)-

When cilliary muscle become loose completely and parallel rays of light of distant thing keep on focusing on the retina rapidly, it is called the normal sight of the eyes. In the disease of farsightedness, the eyeball either is too small or lens system become very weak in the case when cilliary muscles become loose completely. In this condition, parallel rays of the light do not turn by the lens system before reaching to the retina from the complete steam. Contraction of cilliary muscles is necessary to increase the power of the lens for crossing this abnormality. Hence, when the lens affects from farsightedness a little in growing age, the person is not able in focusing distant things completely and is able in focusing nearby things a little.

Myopia:

In this condition of myopia, whether cilliary muscles are too much loose but they have so much power that rays of the light, which come from the distant thing focus on the retina. It happens in that case in which eyeball is situated on a long distance but sometimes it happens because of the excessive power of the lens system.

Cataract:

Cataract is the dimness of the lenses or their tubes because of which that becomes opaque or milky. There are two basic processes of the origin of cataract. First process is the dissolution of lens’ protein and second process is the process of the accession of water in the lens. Consequently, the light that comes from anything generally which goes through the lens with fast speed goes through with slow speed now. If the cataract is stimulated, no shape originates. By the way, this problem is related to growing age but it can occur because of coming in the contact of radiation of injury or special medicines.

Glaucoma-

This blindness is a common reason of the blindness of senility. It is a group of disorders of pressure increased abnormally because of gathering watery liquid inside the eyeballs. This watery liquid does not enter in the blood circulation and it gathers there. It compresses lens into glass equal substance and gives a pressure on the neutrons of the retina by which cycle of eyesight starts to destroy and there are faults and blindness in the visual region.

Night blindness-

This disease occurs because of the lack of vitamin A. When quantity of vitamin A reduces in the blood suddenly, the quantity of vitamin A of eyeball and capacity of absorbing color light destroys by which the sensitivity of special cells of the eyeballs reduces. This condition is called night blindness because the quantity of the light of the night was so less that it cannot be observed sufficiently whereas there is sufficient light to make the cells active in spite of the want of photo chemical substances during day.

The practice of yoga activity should be done to cure all the eyes disease. The practice of yoga activities should be done carefully and in the supervision of able yoga guru.

Do the practice of hathyoga activity carefully.

Shatkirya (hathyoga activity)

Do the practice of jalneti.

Yogic activities for the brain and neck-

Asana

Do the practice of singha asana, sarvanga asana, bhujanaga asana, vajra asana, ushtra asana and matsya asana.

Pranayam

Do the practice of nari shodhana and sheetali pranayama.

Practice time

The practice of yoga activity should be done for 30 minutes thrice a day.

Preksha dhyan

Concentrate on the eyes and take deep breath with green color.

Anuprekhsa (Mind thoughts)

Speculate on making the muscles of the eyes powerful for concentrating the mind while meditation.

Food

Take such substances which are rich in Vitamin A in this disease.

Abstinence

Do not take excessive spicy and stimulated substances. Save eyes from the scorching heat and light. Do not try to look any thing or read the book in dim light.

Some special activities for eyes-

Covering eyes with palms-

In eyes disease, rub both the palms together and cover the eyes with them. This activity is useful to cure eyes diseases. muscles of the eyes get strength by it.

Concentration on the candle-

Concentrate on the candle for the rest of brain concentration and muscles of the eyes.

Practice of concentration-

The work of these all the activities as concentration on the shoulders, gazing on the centeral point and staring up and down should be done by the eyes muscles. The practice of all these activities should be done for quick adjustment.

Washing eyes by water-

Fill fresh and cool water in any pot of wide mouth. Now put this pot upon any table which is high equal to your shoulders and drown eyelids of right eye in the water in open condition by bending the head downwardly  and move the eyeball in the water in a round way for sometime. Thereafter, raise the head up and do same by the left eye. Do so 4-5 times in a day.
