CURE THE DISEASES BY PRANAYAMA
Importance of vitality (praan) treatment-
As natural treatment considers that heterogeneous element’ is the main cause of the diseases in the same way Ayurveda treatment considers that aam ras (raw juice, which originates by the food) is the cause of the diseases. In allopath, it is considered that ‘Germs’ are the main causes of all the diseases in the same way it is considered that ‘Sabal Praan (vitality’) is the main cause of all the mental and physical problems in the pranayama treatment. According to vitality doctors, when the ‘sabal praan (vitality) viz. pure air reduces, all the body parts become loose by which the parts are not able in doing their work properly.
Looseness comes in the body by reducing the pure air in the liver, intestines, kidneys, heart, brain and ductless glands by which there is a problem in the digestion of the meal. The digestive system starts to become weak. If the digestive system does not digest the food properly, aam juice (raw food juice) starts to increase in excessive quantity in the body. When this raw juice makes the blood polluted after mixing, flabbiness comes in the body organs and speed of blood circulation starts to reduce by which all the body parts and muscles become loose and because of this reason, dead cells do not come out from the body.
The polluted blood corpuscles increase in the blood and many types of diseases start to appear in the body. It is clear that the deficiency of fresh air is the main cause of the origin of diseases in the body. Allopath treatment accepts that such persons suffer from germs whose weak vitality power is weak. They lose the power to fight against the diseases. The person, who has weak vitality power, has not capacity to destroy the germs by which he suffers from diseases. If the person has strong vitality power, he stays healthy and the germs, which enhance the disease, destroy. Thus, allopathic doctors consider that vitality power is the main cause of all the diseases.
According to all the doctors, lack of vitality power is the main cause of all the diseases and weakness and mental and physical problems occur due to the lack of it. If it is said that diseases can be cured by increasing vitality power, it will not be wrong. Can we not make vitality power strong by the medicines? According to chemical point of view, if people, who eulogize vitality power, consider that medicine increases the vitality power, they are not wrong. Their vision is bulky.
Such doctors consider vitality power as compound of atoms. We know that “vitality’ is the base of the atoms. Atom is the bulky form of vitality (praan). On the other hand, chinmay is the electricity in inexpressible form. That is emotional electricity. ‘Vitality’ (praan) is that chidspandana by which atom takes birth and grows. Hence, chemical or medicine treatment is the only bulky treatment.
The vitality power cannot increase by the medicine treatment. It can be increased by the natural treatment, pranayama and yoga treatment. The life can be made lustrous, lively and glorious by collecting praan (vitality). Medicines are only for the external physical health but pranayama is the internal yoga by which vitality power can be made strong. This is a primordial treatment. There is a homogeneous relation between pranayama and vitality (praan). Therefore, pranayama (which has been done with the emotions) is the easy, free and natural solution to increase the vitality (praan) power according to homogenous traction rule.
Vitality power (praan) is neither an imaginary thing nor any type of dream. Vitality power is the real internal power of the human being. People, who have done the practice of yoga and gotten success in it, can look the flowing vitality power, which flows in the nervous system, by their internal mind, clearly in themselves. Any person can feel this vitality power by the practice of pranayama. The vitality power can be seen clearly in the form of enlightened electric sparkles in light pink color or in the form of rays inside the body and in the form of round circle to some distance of the body.
If a common person pays attention, he will feel light air, emotion or shivering sound waves in the vitality. This vitality power can be gathered in the micro box in the form of surya chakra situated near the navel and internal ingredient can be kept safe in this way so that they keep on exchanging vitality (praan) from the divine powers of maha praan present in the universe. Thus, the vitality power remains always clear, soft, cold and active.
The practice of pranayama is necessary to sustain the divine attraction of the vitality. Internal body parts, which exchange vitality by the practice of pranayama remain healthy and they keep on doing their work properly. Therefore, pranayama is the yogic sadhna to increase the strength and health and in addition to it is also very useful treatment of curing diseases. Pranayama does not suppress the disease or diseases causes like medicines but pranayama uproots the diseases completely.
In ‘Jabaladarshnopnishd’, it has been confirmed by saints that all the diseases are cured completely by pranayama and chronic diseases like fistula disappear by the practice of pranayama.
According to ‘Yogakudlyopanishad- diseases as colic pain, dropsy, spleen disorders and all the stomach diseases are cured completely by the practice of pranayama. Four types of vatta disorders and worms can be ended by the pranayama. Pranayama is also useful in case of brain warmth, phlegmatic disorders of throat, bile fever (fever caused by bile), excessive thirst etc.
Treatment of diseases by pranayama-
If there is swelling, pain in any part of the body or hands and feet have become numb due to cold or headache or there is any special disease in nose and ears, the blood should be purified by fresh air and supplying this pure blood towards the diseased organs. The affected person gets benefit by doing so. Thus, supplying the fresh air into the body by pranayama is useful in increasing fighting power against the diseases and diseases are cured slowly. Sometimes, all the diseases are cured by doing this activity for 1-2 times.
Technique of flowing blood towards the disease affected parts-
First, sit straight for the practice of vitality for supplying blood towards the affected parts. If sitting is not possible because of the disease, you can do the practice of pranayama by lying down straight on the back. Now after making the position of sitting or lying, inhale or exhale for 5-10 times normally. Keep attention that do the adoration of ‘OM’ for ten times while taking breath thereafter do the adoration of ‘OM’ for five time after stopping breath and in the last adoration of ‘OM’ should be done for ten times while exhaling slowly.
Exclude air at the time of adoration of om ten times. Then, stop for sometime and do above activity again while taking breath slowly. Thus, when this activity becomes complete about ten times, think in the mind while taking deep breath- “My surya chakra stable flow of vitality is running towards the diseased organ with blood circulation”. After that, think in the mind after stopping breath in the body-“the vitality power is active in my body and all the disease affected parts are getting power by it. The affected parts are becoming pure by the flow of pure air in the body and new vitality power is circulating in them.
The pure vitality power has got victory on the heterogeneous elements viz polluted elements and diseases in my body. After that, think in the mind while exhaling- All the disorders, swelling, pain or other any diseases present in my body are flying in the sky like air while excluding the internal air (exhaling)”. “When you exclude internal air, do not take breath and say in the mind that the affected part has become pure by the flow of the vitality power on the affected part.
This activity should be done from 15 minutes to half hour. You will feel by this activity done by the pranayama that the pain of the body parts is reducing quickly. This activity can be done thrice a day at the regular interval of 6 hours. If you feel light pain or trouble, do this activity twice a day. However, this activity can be done for many days or weeks continuously to cure some danger disease as chronic disease. Therefore, the practice of this pranayama should be done with patience, true heart and by ending bad thoughts from the mind and without having fear.
While doing this treatment of curing pain, give soft touching on the affected part for increasing the electric flow fast. The will power becomes strong by doing so because blood and vitality can be seen running towards that side by the touch.
If there is pain in the upper body parts, the circulation of praan should be done from up to below side because pain originates if there is pressure in the lower body organs. In this condition, meditating towards the brain, the blood pressure towards the brain increases consequently there is a fear of harm in place of benefit.
Bend fingers on the affected parts and say in the mind “Get out’, ‘Get out’, ‘disorders run’ and the affected part can be touched too while saying so. This activity should be done as a person does while removing away to the ghosts. The vitality power (magnetic power of the fingers) starts to flow towards the diseased portion by touching the affected parts with the help of fingers. In this way, fighting power starts to increase in the affected part. It has been proved by the machine named ‘Oron Scope’ of Dr. kilnar. Therefore, organs gets power to end the natural disease by falling electric flow on the affected portion by touching fingers on the disease by which one gets help in the treatment of diseases.
Treatment of many diseases by pranayama-
Many types of diseases can be cured by pranayama. The practice of all the pranayama (which have been described to cure diseases) should be done on neat and clean environment and where there is fresh air. Keep one thing in the brain that the practice of pranayama should not be done in fast air because the person can feel problem in taking breath.
To break constipation-
Technique of kumbhak pranayama-
First, sit in Sthira Asana for the practice. Now take breath through both the nostrils slowly and heave the stomach slowly. After filling air in the stomach completely, stop your breath according to capacity. After that, exclude internal air from both the nostrils slowly thereafter do this activity again. This activity should be done as much as you can do.
The practice of Dakshin Rechak Pranayama can also be done for breaking constipation.
For the treatment of stomach diseases-
The practice of Madhya rechak pranayama should be done to cure stomach diseases. It has been considered that this pranayama is very useful for the treatment of all the stomach diseases.
Technique of madhya rechak pranayama-
Sit in swastika or utakata asana for the practice of Madhya Rechak Pranayama. Now exclude internal air and stop breathing. After that, apply Uddiyaan Bandha and raise to the intestines up in this way so that they may appear on the stomach like as cylinder. Keep both the hands on the knees and do external kumbhak (stop breath after excluding the internal air) while pressing both the hands in the armpits, Stay in this position by stopping the breath according to the capacity. After that, open the bandh and take breath slowly while removing the pressure of the hands in the armpits. Keep attention that do the practice of this activity carefully and do the practice of this activity in the supervision of any yoga guru if it is possible,
All the intestines disorders disappear by this pranayama and intestines become strong. It breaks the constipation and cures all the stomach diseases. It cures all the diseases of the spleen and liver too.
For sour belching-
Do the practice of Chandra bhedan pranayama to end sour belching. Left nostril is called Chandra nerve and right nostril is called surya nerve. The air is taken from the left nostril in this pranayama (purak is done), so it is called Chandra bhedan pranayama.
Technique of Chandra bhedan pranayama-
Sit in Padma or Sukha Asana for the practice of Chandra Bhedan Pranayama and put left hand on the knee. After that, close the right nostril from the right thumb and take breath through the left nostril with sound. Now stop your breath inside the body according to the capacity thereafter close the left nostril and exclude the internal air from the right nostril slowly. Do the practice of this activity for many times. The practice of this activity should be done according to the capacity.
To make body thin and reduce stomach grease-
Fat of the stomach reduces by the practice of Bhastrika Pranayama and the body becomes thin and strong. The practice of this pranayama should be done carefully.
Technique of Bhastrika Pranayama-
Sit in Sukha or Padma asana for the practice of this pranayama and put left hand on the left knee. Now keep the elbow in the line of shoulder while raising up right hand and close the left nostril by the fingers. Now exclude the internal air from the right nostril with fast speed and inhale again. Do this breathing activity (inhaling and exhaling) activity at least for 8-10 times without stopping. In the last, stop your breath after taking inside. Stop your breath according to the capacity.
After that, close the right nostril from the right thumb and exclude the internal air from the left nostril. After that, close the right nostril and do the breathing activity (inhaling and exhaling) with speed by the left nostril 8-10 times continuously. Now in the last, stop breath according to capacity and close the left nostril and exclude the internal air from the right nostril. This pranayama is one chakra and the practice of this activity should be done three times in this way. Its practice should be done regularly and its number should be increased slowly too.
Besides it, the body grease also should be reduced by the practice of Agni Prasaran Pranayama, Vaamarechak Pranayama and Kamniya Kumbhak Pranayama.
The practice of this pranayama should be done carefully otherwise, it may be harmful. If precautions are not adopted in its practice, blood can come with the sputum. It may be the cause of asthma and cough. Therefore, the practice of this pranayama should be done in the supervision of any experienced yoga guru. Milk and ghee should be taken in the period of this practice. Weak person should not do the practice of this pranayama hurriedly otherwise; it may be the cause of giddiness.
For normalizing the high blood pressure or blood pressure: The practice of Sheetali Pranayama should be done to keep the blood pressure normal. This is good pranayama and description of several benefits of it have been described ‘Gheranda samhita’ in which treatment of bile disorders, kapha disorders and chronic constipation has been described.
Technique of Sheetali Pranayama-
Sit in Sukha Asana for the practice and put both the hands on the knees. Bend the tongue from both the edges and give a shape like tube to the tongue. Thereafter, bring out the tongue a little from the mouth and close the lips. Now take breath (inhaling) from this tongue pipe slowly. When the air fills in the body completely, stop this breath inside the body according to the capacity. If you feel mystification while stopping the breath, exclude the internal air from the nostrils slowly. Do this activity again. Increase the time of inhaling and stopping breath slowly while doing its practice.
The person, who is kapha natured, should not do the practice of this pranayama. Its practice should be done in the summer season in place of winter season. Internal air should be excluded from the nostrils while feeling mystification at the time of practice.
For the heart pulsation-
The practice of Vakchstahala Rechak Pranayama should be done in case of fast pulsation of the heart because it helps in normalizing pulsation of the heart.
Technique of Vakchsthala Rechak Pranayama-
First, sit in Sukha Asana in clean environment for the practice of pranayama. After that, take breath through both the nostrils thereafter exclude this internal breath slowly. When breath comes out completely, the breath should be stopped (do external kumbhak). Now put both the hands on the shoulders by raising both the hands up. After that, shrink the shoulders lightly while leaving the chest a little loose. After that, bring the shoulders a little forward. Stop breath in this condition of pranayama according to the capacity thereafter exclude internal air (exhaling) slowly. This is one chakra of Vakchsthala Rechak Pranayama. Thus, do the practice of this activity many times and try to increase the time of this chakra slowly.
To end kapha disorders-
To purify the lungs and end the phlegmatic disorders, the practice of Kapala Bhanti Pranayama should be done. Different techniques of this pranayama have been described in ‘Gheranda Samhita’ and ‘Hathyoga Pradipika’. The practice of this pranayama in these techniques provides equal benefits.
Technique of practice of Kapala Bhanti Pranayama-
Technique of ‘Gheranda Samhita-
The practice of this pranayama can be done in sitting position of padma asana or in standing position. First, sit in asana position for the practice of this pranayama. Now close the right nostril by the right thumb and take breath through left nostril slowly. After that, close left nostril by all the remaining fingers and exclude internal air from the right nostril. Just then take breath through the right nostril and exclude it from the left nostril by closing the right nostril. Thus, breath should be taken through the left nostril and it should be excluded from the right nostril and after that the breath should be taken through right nostril and it should be excluded from the left nostril. Thus, do the practice of this activity many times.
Technique according to ‘Hathyoga pradipika’-
First, sit in padma asana for this activity and leave your body loose. Now inhale and exhale hurriedly. Keep one thing in the brain while inhaling and exhaling that the time of inhaling should be three times more than the times of exhaling. Thus, increase the time of inhaling and exhaling by which breathing activity may reach 120 times in one minute. Keep attention that only stomach muscles should be moved while doing the breathing activity and the chest and other parts should be stay stable. Do not stop after starting the activity once before ending the activity. In this activity, inhale and exhale once in one second thereafter the breath should be taken three times in one second. Do this activity 11-11 times twice a day and keep on increasing its chakra every week. After completing one chakra in this activity, make the breathing activity normal and repeat this activity.
For destroying and avoiding from catarrh-
The person, who suffers from this problem, should do the practice of Anuloma and Viloma Pranayama.
Technique of Anuloma and Viloma Pranayama-
First, sit in padma asana for the practice of this pranayama. After that, close the right nostril from the right thumb and exclude the internal air from the left nostril with speed (do rechak). After that, take breath inside with equal speed like the speed of excluding breath. Now close the left nostril and internal air should be excluded from the right nostril with speed and then breath should be taken through the left nostril. After that, exclude from the right nostril. Thus, do this breathing activity for 20-20 times by changing nostrils by turns. Increase the time of this pranayama slowly.
For the treatment of throat diseases-
The practice of ‘Chaturmukhi Pranayama’ should be done for the treatment of throat diseases and for making the nerves strong. The meaning of this pranayama is- the mouth is moved all around from left to right and up to down by doing rechak and purak without doing kumbhak. This activity should be done 15 times regularly and practice time should be increased slowly.
Technique of Chaturmukhi Pranayama-
First, sit in padma asana for the practice of this pranayama. Now brandish the face towards the left shoulder. After that, take breath through the nose with speed and sound thereafter close the right nostril by the right thumb and exclude the internal air from the left nostril. After that, brandish your face towards the right shoulder, take breath through the left nostril and exclude it from the right nostril. After that, do this activity by brandishing the face up and down. Thus, doing this activity by brandishing the face up down and all around completes one chakra of this activity. Thus, the practice of its chakra should be done according to the capacity.
In the practice of it, use the hand to close the nostril while taking and excluding the breath in the beginning. Thereafter, do not use hands and do this breathing activity (inhaling and exhaling) without hands. The sound should come while breathing activity or at the time of purak and rechak (inhaling and exhaling).
