Structure: Its trees are very big. Its leaves are like surinam medalcar and seeds are called “Indrajav”.
Nature: It is hot and dry in nature.
Conessi flower is cool in nature, bitter and pungent in taste and light. It increases appetite and normalizes vatta, pitta and kapha. It prevents loose motions and destroys the stomach worms. Eating saag (green cooked vegetable) of buds of conessi flowers provides relief in rheumatism. Its flowers are also used in the case of blood amoebic dysentery and leprosy.
Useful in different diseases:
1.Toothache: Gargle with conessi decoction frequently a day to end toothache. It makes the teeth strong.
2. Myxoedema (Inflammation and swelling of the face): Coating ground bark of conessi tree on the face is useful to end swelling and inflammation of the face.
