Cell division

 Cell division

The cells have ability to make other cells of their own types after being divided. The groups of cells having similar characteristics shape and size, and do similar works together form any tissue like- muscles, bones, etc. in the process of physical growth, the growth of cell’s shape is limit. After growing completely, the cell is divided in to two parts. Cell division is also necessary for replacing new cells on the place of dead cells. Division of a cell into two daughter cells is the base of running life process continuously.

Cell division takes place by follow two ways-

he cell division taken place inside the human body is known as the most complicated process. In this process, every cell is divided into their own two daughter cells. One of them is similar to their mother cells (the cell just being divided). This type of division takes place in somatic cells. It helps in body growth and establishes new somatic cells .........................

Meiosis takes place in reproductive (gonadal) cells (spermatozoa and ovum) while mitosis takes place in somatic cells. In mitosis, only one division takes place while two divisions take place in meiosis. In mitosis, the number of chromosomes in both daughter cells and mother cell is same, but in meiosis, the number of chromosomes is.........................
