Chemically structure: Boneset leaves contain fly oil. Its dried leaves contain Crestline material and fresh leaves contain Aayapanen named two Crestlines elements, which increase blood and sperm count. 

Qualities: The Boneset cures wound and stops bleeding. Juice of boneset leaves is also used for the treatment of blood diarrhoea, bloody piles and stomach bleeding. This juice also prevents bleeding of body parts.

Boneset (Ayapan*) is useful in different diseases:

Piles: Apply ground leaved of Boneset on the piles moles and drink 10-20 ml juice twice or thrice a day, it provides quick relief in this disease.

Vomiting: Take over quantity of warm decoction of boneset panchang (Root, stem, Leaf, Fruit and flower) to cause vomiting and loose motions. This medicine should be used to clear the stomach.

Tonic: Drinking boneset leave’s juice in less quantity increases body power.

Fever: If someone suffers from fever caused by cold, boil twenty grams boneset leaves with 200 ml water and prepare a paste from it. After that, give this hot preparation to him twice or thrice a day to cure fever. It is very useful in fever caused by bile.

Outer use: Coat ground leaves of Boneset on the affected part to get relief in wound. It stops bleeding too.

Insects poison: Coat a paste of Boneset on the affected part to get relief from pain.

Bleeding: If someone suffers from bleeding from any part of the body, apply ground leaves of boneset on the affected part as well as drink 10-20 ml juice of boneset leaves. Using this process is useful to stop bleeding.

Wound: If someone suffers from wound caused by any weapons, he should apply ground leaves of boneset and take 5-10 ml leaves juice 3-4 times a day. Using this process is useful to cure wound soon.

Malaria:

  • Boil twenty grams Boneset’s panchang (leaf, root, fruit, flower and stem) with 400 ml water until it remains ¼ parts then put it down and make cold. After that, take 5-10 ml this decoction twice a day to get relief in malaria.
  • Give ten to twenty ml juice of boneset leaves to the patient to get relief in malaria.
