CONJUNCTIVITIS


A type of clean and transparent membrane remains covered on the sclera of the eyes, which is called conjunctivitis. When this membrane comes in contact of infection, it is infected easily. This type of infection named conjunctivitis makes the sclera as pink or red in appearance.Introduction:-

Cause-

Normally, conjunctivitis occurs due to dust, small particles or make up material, it is allergic. The conjunctivitis which occurs due to any type of pollution, smoke of cigarette or factory, presence of extra chlorine in the swimming pool, etc. is called chemical conjunctivitis. In many cases, it can be also occurred due to infection of bacteria or viruses. In such condition, this infection can be communicated from one person to another. 

Symptoms-

In this disease, the patient feels itching and burning sensation in his eyes, the eyes are become red, and water goes on coming from the eyes. If this secretion takes place at night, the eyelids are stick together in the morning after getting up. 

Treatment-

Well, it is not a type of disease, but if it is not treated on time, wounds can be appeared in the cornea. Talk to a doctor before dripping any type of eye drop or medicines in this disease.

Conjunctivitis can be treated by giving pressure on the acupoints as shown in the figure through acupressure treatment system.
